Project Overview
The following sections provide a general overview of the core elements of the Study process.

Data Collection involves amassing information such as traffic data, environmental conditions, land use classifications and community and historical features.  Items collected during this stage are used as a framework for alternatives improvement development.

Public Involvement entails Public Workshops, small group meetings, elected/appointed officials identification, stakeholder coordination and outreach and communication efforts.  Public Involvement is a continuing effort throughout the study process.

Alternatives Improvement Development occurs after data collection items are assembled and a general framework is in place.  Alternatives Improvement development involves the creation of concepts that further the project objective in an environmentally responsible, socially acceptable and cost feasible manner.

Recommended Improvement is the final stage of the study where the Study Team will endorse a recommended improvement to the City Council.  The recommendation will commence during the Public Hearing.
